On April 18, 2024, Vice President Han Zheng met with Mayor of San Francisco of the United States London Nicole Breed in Beijing.

Han Zheng said that President Xi Jinping and President Joe Biden's historic meeting in San Francisco last November has established a future-oriented San Francisco vision and charted the way for the development of bilateral relations.
